And it's about to touch ground level in about 11 hours and 30 minutes. I've been trying to sell my DiMedici 1011R flute on eBay these past 2 weeks at a modest price (bidding starts at USD $700), and still I'm surprised with the lack of enthusiasm among the buyers.
I mean, seriously? A DiMedici for $700 is like stealing a lollipop from a toddler--it's ridiculously irrational. It's a steal. A giveaway. A punch in my face. Tears in my eyes. Wailing from my mouth. There's less than 12 hours left before the bidding period ends and I haven't gotten a single bidder on my flute. Here's a link to the listing: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180638903711&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT#ht_524wt_1141
I am flabbergasted: I have no idea why there are 21 watchers, no bids, and only 8 questions on my flute. I mean, it comes with a handmade headjoint! It's made of solid sterling silver, with pointed arm keys--it's basically a professional flute with the price tag of an intermediate flute.
At 700 dollars, "intermediate" flute doesn't even make sense--a professional flute of this caliber should be sold at least twice this amount. To think that this has been regularly maintained and well-kept, it comes in an insanely degraded price. And they're still not biting it. Enough ranting.
I seriously don't know what's going on. The auction ends soon.
Somebody rescue this poor fella?
